Breaking away from the obstacle

We can’t stop the flow of water. Go ahead and try to put a rock in the river or put your hand under the faucet and try and stop it from flowing. The only time water is ever turned off if we physically do it. Picture a faucet or a valve. The world is eighty percent made of water. What does that tell us about what we truly have control over? If we are powerless to stop the flow of water, how can we assume we have control over other thoughts, opinions, and actions. But we sure want to try, don’t we? Why?
